Case arose out of an auto wreck in which the Defendant failed to observe a traffic control device resulting in a head-on collision with our client.  Our client sustained significant inoperable chest and sternum injuries in the collision, as well as severe retrosternal hematomas from a seat-belt injury at impact.  Case was filed in Paulding County, Georgia.  Client recovered over three (3) times her medical expenses from a policy limits settlement with the at-fault driver’s insurer and the client’s own underinsured motorist carrier.  Case resolved a week after mediation midway through the discovery period.
